VAPA INSURANCE SUMMARY
As at August 2024

Insurance policies for VAPA, affiliated clubs and members –
1. Associations Liability – for sporting bodies. Previously two policies now combined into one.

• Part 1. Public & Products Liability. Indemnify the insured’s legal liability to pay compensation for personal injury or property damage, including legal fees and expenses.
• Part 2. Professional Indemnity. Indemnify the insured against any claim or claims in connection with the business.
• Part 3. Management Liability. Covers claims made against directors, executive officers, committee members or office bearers of the club while in their role.

2. Group Personal Accident Insurance

• Personal injury. Covers bodily injury sustained by an insured person during the scope of cover.

3. General Property Insurance (Members guns)

• Members equipment against damage by fire or theft or while in use, in accordance with state laws.
